Clonmel in Co Tipperary will host Irelands biggest race in 2021 “Verge Cross Clonmel” over the weekend of the 16th and 17th of October.
Clonmel Cycling Club will host the race as they have done previously for Munster Cyclo Cross League.
Cross Clonmel will be the only world ranked event to be held in Ireland in 2021 and will look to attract riders from home and abroad in search of valuable world ranking points.
Powerstown Park in Clonmel will be the host venue, the famous racehorse and coursing venue which provides an ideal setting that gives a challenging course
UCI ranked races will be held on the 17th for junior men and womens and elite men and women.
Underage racing during the weekend with be a central focus with a full complement of underage age races on both the 16th and 17th.
There will be M40, M50 and M60 races on the 17th with a support race for those who want to try cross without jumping into the deep end on the 16th
